One of the significant milestones in the opening and
integration of the Vietnamese post and telecommunication
sector is the event of the Vietnamese Government’s issuance
of the Investment License on September 2001 approving the
CDMA Mobile Telecommunication Business Cooperation Contract
between Saigon Postel Corporation (Vietnam) and three Korean
Corporation which are SK Telecom, LG Electronics and DongAh
Elecomm. This is the very first Business Cooperation
Contract between foreign investors and a Vietnamese joint
stock enterprise with private elements licensed in this
particular sector, which is comprehensively consulted by
founding members of
NTK.
In addition,
NTK is advising joint ventures by the Vietnam
Posts and Telecommunications Corporation (VNPT) in the
manufacturing field of telecom equipments such as: VKX Ltd.,
Postef-DongAh Energy System Corporation, Alcatel Network
Systems Vietnam, etc.
Founding members of
NTK have also consulted a number of
foreign invested projects in the IT sector such as: KDDI,
DICOM, FUJITSU, ExactSoftware, etc.
